How to use Social Media to Build a Professional Network

It seems today everyone is getting involved with social media to stay connected, create business network systems, reach out to others within their network, explore new business ventures and to share information and resources.

Over time, you have created a large community of professionals that you have access to through your own network. However, sometimes with our busy schedules we don't stay as connected when people change jobs or leave the company. Using social media is a means to manage and retain those relationships, and to gain new relationships when you share your expertise on a topic by participating in discussion groups.

The social media frenzy is on and I've noticed how they are being used by various audiences. You have the twitters and they seems to be the busiest group of them all. They are twitting all over the place and even adults are having a problem staying away from Twitting or Facebook today. You should ask yourself why: Because there is also a business advantage to these social media networks. You will find adults behaving as though they just cannot live without the telephone. The telephone has become an intricate part our lives.
